A contract valued at EUR 523 million for the development of a next-generation air and missile defense system has been signed between ASELSAN and the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Secretariat of Defence Industries (SSB).

At the BAMEX 2026 exhibition in Mali, over 20 Turkish defense companies including Baykar, ASELSAN, and ROKETSAN will present solutions for the Sahel region's counterterrorism and border security needs. Delegations from more than 40 African nations are expected to attend.
