Baykar showcased its new-generation unmanned systems, the K2 Kamikaze UAV and Sivrisinek loitering munition, during a demonstration in Keşan. The event highlighted AI-supported swarm autonomy, GNSS-independent navigation, automatic target detection, and strike capabilities. Both systems are set to be displayed publicly for the first time at SAHA 2026, to be held on 5–9 May.

Developed by Baykar, the Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV has surpassed 150,000 flight hours. The advanced unmanned combat aerial vehicle continues operational missions and integration tests with new indigenous systems and munitions.

The first medium-class UAVs developed under the Baykar–Leonardo partnership will complete assembly in April. The program is progressing ahead of schedule.
