Baykar and Leonardo shared details of autonomous joint flight tests between KIZILELMA and M-346 under the K-SWARM program.

Bayraktar KIZILELMA struck a target over 120 kilometers away with pinpoint accuracy using ROKETSAN’s JET-230 supersonic missile.

The head of Turkey's Defense Industry Agency stated that the Turkish defense sector stands ready to be one of the main forces behind the industrial transformation NATO requires, speaking at the NATO Defense Industry Forum in Ankara ahead of the alliance's summit.

Selçuk Bayraktar, chairman of Baykar, presented the capabilities of the unmanned combat aircraft Kızılelma to a NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegation. Bayraktar emphasized that unmanned platforms represent a distinct category from piloted aircraft and will shape future combat environments.

Bayraktar KIZILELMA successfully hit fixed ground targets with TEBER-82 and LGK-82 munitions during tests using ASELSAN’s TOYGUN targeting system.

In a joint flight campaign at Baykar's test facility in Çorlu, the Kızılelma unmanned aircraft successfully flew in formation with Leonardo's M-346 and T-346A trainer jets. Advanced algorithms and procedures for manned-unmanned platform cooperation were tested under the K-SWARM program.

Baykar has signed its first export agreement for the Kızılelma unmanned combat aircraft with Indonesia. The deal covers delivery of 12 units starting in 2028, strengthening Turkish defense industry's position in the global high-technology market.

Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar announced at the SAHA 2026 Expo that the company aims to begin initial serial deliveries of its Kızılelma unmanned combat aircraft during 2026.
