Turkey’s defense industry is making waves across Europe. From HÜRJET and TB-2 UAVs to armored vehicles and naval platforms, Turkish firms are exporting cutting-edge, combat-proven systems to countries such as Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Germany — establishing Turkey as one of Europe’s key defense partners.

According to SETA researcher and Azerbaijan Khazar University lecturer Gloria Shkurti, the Turkish public has not only adopted defense industry technologies but also experienced a psychological transformation. She emphasized that the National Technology Initiative, coupled with major projects and government incentives, has created an optimistic and confident technological outlook in Turkey.

TUSAŞ CEO Mehmet Demiroğlu announced that a long-awaited development for the HÜRJET’s engine could be revealed very soon. While major programs like KAAN, ANKA-3, and GÖKBEY progress as planned, TUSAŞ aims for a record-breaking $12 billion turnover by 2034.
