TUSAŞ and ROKETSAN signed the HÜRSAT-2 project contract at the 77th International Astronautical Congress. HÜRSAT-1, the first member of Turkey's serializable satellite family, is planned for launch in mid-2027.

Turkey's first series-producible satellite family HÜRSAT advances with TUSAŞ and ROKETSAN partnership agreement, marking a critical step toward indigenous launch capability.

TÜRKSAT and ROKETSAN will cooperate in satellite launch, space systems and communication infrastructure to strengthen Türkiye’s national space capabilities.

Roketsan aims to launch commercial and military satellites into orbit using fully domestic launch systems within the next few years under the Şimşek Project.

Under a new agreement between TUSAŞ and Delta-V, Turkey will launch a domestically produced micro-satellite into orbit using a national launch system for the first time. This milestone positions Turkey among a select group of nations with independent launch capability and could significantly impact future military and missile technologies.
