STM Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc. announced its participation in six international defense industry exhibitions scheduled between October 26 and December 13, 2026, in Nigeria, France, Thailand, Turkey, Chile, and Vietnam. The company will showcase its advanced maritime and unmanned systems portfolio to strengthen its global market presence.
STM is a key player in the Turkish defense industry ecosystem, specializing in naval platforms, tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, and autonomous maritime systems. The company's portfolio encompasses naval platforms including the Logistics and Supply Ship built for the Portuguese Navy, the İstif-class frigate, the ADA-class corvette, the STM MPAC fast attack craft, and the STM500 submarine; unmanned aerial systems such as KARGU, TURUL VTOL, KUZGUN, and TOGAN; and autonomous maritime solutions including the STM NETA autonomous underwater vehicle and the STM YAKTU kamikaze unmanned surface vessel.
The exhibition calendar begins with AFRIDEX 2026 in Nigeria on October 26-29, where STM will present the Portuguese-built vessel, the İstif-class frigate, the fast attack craft, and unmanned aerial systems to African military representatives. EURONAVAL 2026 in Paris on November 3-6 will focus on naval platforms and autonomous underwater systems. DronTech Asia 2026 in Thailand on November 11-13 will highlight unmanned aerial systems to the Asia-Pacific region. NATO EDGE 2026 in Izmir on November 17-19 will feature command and control software solutions alongside maritime platforms and unmanned systems. The final exhibitions include EXPONAVAL 2026 in Chile on December 1-3 and Vietnam Defence Expo 2026 in Hanoi on December 10-13, targeting Latin American and Asia-Pacific markets.
STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz stated that Turkish defense industry has achieved a strong global position through indigenous technologies and increasing export success. Güleryüz emphasized that the company's projects across different continents and international partnerships demonstrate confidence in Turkish engineering capabilities. He noted that the company aims not only to export products but to establish long-term strategic partnerships by sharing technical expertise and knowledge.
The company's participation in these exhibitions reflects the geographic diversification and product portfolio depth of Turkish defense industry exports. The naval ship delivery to Portugal represents a significant achievement as Turkey's first military vessel export to an EU and NATO member state, demonstrating STM's design and engineering capabilities meet international standards. The export of unmanned aerial systems to over 15 countries reinforces the competitive position of Turkish defense products in global markets.
