Turkish defense manufacturer MKE completed deliveries of naval gun, tank weapon systems, rifle and various ammunition to Turkish Armed Forces and security units over the past month.

MKE's kamikaze unmanned naval vehicle PIRANA KİDA successfully conducted an attack on a surface target under Bayraktar TB2 control during the TURNAs-2026 exercise, equipped with a 100-kilogram warhead.

With an investment exceeding 1.5 billion dollars, MKE is significantly expanding its 155mm howitzer ammunition production capacity. Infrastructure modernization efforts at production facilities in Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, and Samsun are expected to be completed this year.

At the BORAN-8 International Sniper Rifle Competition hosted by the Gendarmerie General Command, rifles developed by MKE achieved significant success. The Police Special Operations Command team using the KN-12 secured first place, while the Land Forces Command team using the KNT-76 achieved third place.

Turkey's first variable-caliber sniper rifle KN-12, manufactured by MKE, secured first place at the BORAN-8 International Sniper Competition held in Foça. The KNT-76 model earned third place for the Land Forces Command team.

MKE’s indigenous TOLGA Close Air Defense System neutralized aerial threats with 100 percent success in seven different test scenarios.

Three more E-ZPT vehicles, Türkiye’s first electric armored personnel carrier modernized by MKE, have entered the inventory.

Turkey's domestically developed 105mm lightweight towed howitzer BORAN has been contracted for delivery to Albania's armed forces. The agreement, signed ahead of the NATO Summit in Turkey, marks the first defense industry contract between the two allied nations.
