BREAKING NEWS
A senior executive change has taken place at TAAC Aerospace Technologies, one of Türkiye’s key subsystem manufacturers in the defense and aerospace industry. Murat Koç has officially been appointed as General Manager, effective March 1, 2026, succeeding Enis Ata, who had held the position since the company’s establishment. With this leadership transition, the company aims to further strengthen its global competitiveness and expand its engineering capabilities in high-technology aerospace systems.
Founded in 2019 with the vision of becoming a global brand producing advanced aerospace subsystems, TAAC Aerospace Technologies has emerged as a significant player in landing gear systems, flight control actuators, and critical test systems. The company plays a strategic role in the localization of critical components for national platforms within the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces. Under Koç’s leadership, TAAC is expected to accelerate its export-oriented growth strategy while enhancing its contribution to Türkiye’s defense industry ecosystem.
Murat Koç graduated from Yıldız Technical University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed his master’s degree at Boğaziçi University in the same field. He began his professional career as a research assistant in academia before transitioning to the defense industry in 2014 as a design engineer at Kale R&D. Combining strong technical expertise with strategic leadership skills, Koç quickly advanced into senior management roles.
Since joining Altınay Defense Group in 2015, Koç has held several key positions, including Business Development Manager, Project and Business Development Director, and Deputy General Manager responsible for Program Management and Business Development at TAAC Aerospace Technologies. Most recently, he served as General Manager of DASAL Aerospace Technologies between March 2024 and February 2026. Fluent in English and a father of two, Koç is expected to lead TAAC toward greater global integration and technological excellence in aerospace subsystems.
