The Logistic Support Ship, constructed by Selah Shipyard, is designed for multiple purposes including command and control, personnel transportation, critical spare parts storage, providing electrical power to various naval vessels (frigates, assault boats, corvettes, mine ships, and SAT boats) at port or anchor, transporting ammunition and replenishment materials, and carrying repair teams. Equipped with a capacity and infrastructure for carrying eight containers, the ship also features an 18-ton capacity electro-hydraulic service crane for container handling. With a fuel capacity of 4,036 tons of diesel, 336 tons of JP-5, and 594 tons of fresh water, the ship is capable of fulfilling the fuel needs of combat units and replenishing their fuel stores. The ship can conduct at-sea refueling operations using its "Stern Refueling System" and is equipped to handle personnel transfers, including operations of SAT commandos, using its ample crane and davit capabilities. Notably, the ship also has a helicopter platform suitable for 15-ton general-purpose helicopters for day and night operations, is armed with a 12.7 mm STAMP weapon system, and includes a "Small Surgical Intervention Room" for minor operations, as well as NATO and Turkish Armed Forces communication networks. The ship can accommodate 82 personnel and is noted for its fresh water cargo capacity of 594 tons and a general-purpose helicopter deck.
