The Technology and Competency Meetings held in Berlin under the coordination of the SSB brought together Türkiye’s growing defense industry and highly qualified Turkish talent abroad.

SSB President Haluk Görgün announced that Türkiye’s defense industry recorded 48 percent export growth and nearly 80 percent contract volume growth in 2025.

Technologies developed in Türkiye’s defense industry will be integrated into social services through the AI-powered CANGÖZ Project. The system aims to enhance security and service quality in care centers.

ASELSAN and the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) have signed new contracts worth €1,122,139,260 to expand ongoing air defense system serial-production projects. Deliveries will take place between 2027 and 2030.

At the IISS Prague Defence Summit, SSB President Haluk Görgün met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to discuss Turkey’s growing defense capabilities and their contribution to NATO’s collective deterrence and future vision.

SSB President Haluk Görgün announced that Turkey’s defense and aerospace exports rose by 97.3% in August 2025 to $834 million, bringing total exports for January–August to $5.418 billion — a 45% year-on-year increase.
