Turkey launched 14 new defense R&D projects under its 2025 vision, focusing on artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, advanced materials, and autonomous systems.

The Directorate of Communications has published a comprehensive book detailing Türkiye’s defense industry mission in strengthening national security, economic growth, and peace-oriented diplomacy.

SSB President Haluk Görgün emphasized that Türkiye’s defense industry has achieved an 83% localization rate by transforming its strategy into technology and technology into products.

According to SETA researcher and Azerbaijan Khazar University lecturer Gloria Shkurti, the Turkish public has not only adopted defense industry technologies but also experienced a psychological transformation. She emphasized that the National Technology Initiative, coupled with major projects and government incentives, has created an optimistic and confident technological outlook in Turkey.

Minister Mustafa Varank emphasized at the Turkish Defense Industry Summit that young innovators will drive Turkey’s national technology initiative. He highlighted the growing strength of domestic defense technologies.
