At IDEF 2025, MKE unveiled its new defense systems and highlighted its $818 million transformation investment, export achievements, and global supplier vision.

Hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, IDEF 2025 has officially opened at the Istanbul Expo Center, welcoming high-level delegations from 33 countries.

At IDEF 2025, MKE will announce Türkiye’s first naval gun export and showcase the PİRANA unmanned surface vehicle alongside new drone and weapon systems.

Under an MKE–MoNE protocol, applications are open until July 31 for a classroom-free school in Kırıkkale. Thirty students will be admitted using 2025 LGS scores.

Developed by MKE, the PİRANA kamikaze unmanned surface vehicle, controlled in integration with Bayraktar TB3 from TCG ANADOLU, successfully hit its target, marking a new strike capability for the Turkish Navy.

MKE’s MOD184 multipurpose fuze — combining impact, delay, time and proximity functions — completed qualification and is set for Turkish Armed Forces service.

MKE’s domestically developed BORAN 105 mm light towed howitzer has been successfully delivered to North Macedonia, marking Türkiye’s first-ever artillery export to a European country.

MKE’s kamikaze uncrewed surface vehicle PİRANA successfully completed impact tests—achieving a precision hit on a 3.5-metre target—and is now declared mission-ready.
