BREAKING NEWS
Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE) continues to strengthen the operational safety of the Turkish Armed Forces not only through advanced weapons and ammunition systems but also with high-technology solutions against Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats. Developed entirely with domestic resources in MKE’s R&D laboratories, these systems are designed to provide maximum protection for personnel operating in high-risk environments.
The CBRN protective suits developed by MKE are based on a dual functional layer technology and are available in four different models with eight separate product configurations. This modular structure allows the equipment to adapt to various mission profiles and operational needs. The suits form an effective barrier against vapor, liquid, and particulate warfare agents while maintaining a high level of ergonomics and freedom of movement during tactical operations. Reinforced knee, elbow, back, and contact areas ensure durability and long-term use in extreme field conditions.
MKE’s CBRN respirator mask offers uninterrupted respiratory protection in temperatures ranging from minus 30 to plus 50 degrees Celsius. Thanks to its low aerosol permeability and anti-fog panoramic visor, personnel can maintain full situational awareness without compromising visibility. In addition, the CBRN protective gloves provide high chemical resistance and enhanced fingertip sensitivity, supporting operational control even in rain, mud, and low-temperature environments.
The CBRN protective boot covers are designed with highly chemical-resistant materials and adjustable structures, enabling safe movement across wet terrain, contaminated areas, and harsh field conditions. Double-layer protection applied to wrist and ankle areas prevents liquid and vapor penetration, while the emergency evacuation handle integrated into the back of the suit supports rapid response and casualty evacuation during operations. Fully compliant with NATO standards, these indigenous systems elevate Türkiye’s capabilities in the CBRN domain and ensure that security forces remain prepared for every possible scenario.
