The Turkish Naval Forces have launched the large-scale Denizkurdu-I/2025 exercise across surrounding seas with 92 ships and 66 aircraft. The drill aims to enhance operational command, decision-making skills and joint-force interoperability.

Launched at Yalova’s Sefine Shipyard, TCG İçel (F-518) is the 8th ship of the MİLGEM I-Class Frigate Project, featuring up to 80% indigenous radar, sonar, fire control, and anti-ship systems.
