Turkish defense company ASELSAN signed a 780 million euro air defense systems procurement contract with the Defense Industry Agency (SSB). The agreement will strengthen Turkey's multi-layered air defense architecture known as Steel Dome.

ROKETSAN is taking part in DSA 2026 in Kuala Lumpur with a wide portfolio ranging from MAM munitions to SİPER, ATMACA, and ALKA, aiming to expand defense cooperation across Southeast Asia.

ROKETSAN inaugurated three new production facilities and laid the foundation for another site at its Lalahan campus, while also carrying out deliveries of 20 missile and munition systems including TAYFUN, SİPER, HİSAR, and KARA ATMACA.

Another SİPER-1 system has been integrated into Türkiye’s ÇELİKKUBBE Air Defense Network. Successful live-fire tests once again confirmed its long-range interception capability.

The first test launch of the SIPER 1-D through the national vertical launch system MİDLAS was successfully completed, giving the Turkish Navy a long-range air defense capability and strengthening security in the “Blue Homeland.”

ASELSAN has signed a €1.65 billion contract with Türkiye’s Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) for the procurement of advanced air defense systems. Deliveries are scheduled between 2027 and 2031.

At DSEI 2025 in London, Roketsan presents its latest missile and ammunition portfolio, including SİPER, ÇAKIR, the MAM IIR family, and the supersonic IHA-230. The ALKA directed-energy system and advanced anti-tank weapons also draw attention.

Türkiye has officially entered the mass-production era in its defense industry with ASELSAN’s 14 new facilities and the groundbreaking of the Oğulbey Technology Base. The “Steel Dome” ushers in a new chapter in air defense.
