BREAKING NEWS
ROKETSAN has joined Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur as part of its effort to strengthen defense ties in Southeast Asia. DSA 2026 is being held from April 20 to 23 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre, one of the region’s main defense and security venues.
According to current reporting, ROKETSAN is using the exhibition to present a broad range of combat-proven missile, rocket, and munition systems to regional delegations and defense officials. The company’s participation is framed not only as a product showcase, but also as an effort to deepen strategic ties with friendly and partner countries in the region.
Reportedly displayed at the stand are the MAM-C, MAM-L, and MAM-T smart munitions for UAV platforms; the CİRİT laser-guided missile; the KARAOK, UMTAS, and OMTAS anti-tank systems; and the ÇAKIR and ATMACA cruise-missile family. Reports also say the air-defense and advanced systems lineup includes SUNGUR, HİSAR-O RF, SİPER Block 1 and Block 2, LEVENT, MİDLAS, TRLG-230, BORA, and the ALKA directed-energy system.
That product mix suggests ROKETSAN is approaching Southeast Asia with a deliberately multi-layered offer rather than a single flagship item. The portfolio spans UAV munitions, anti-tank weapons, air defense, naval strike, land-based precision fires, and counter-drone solutions. This indicates an attempt to address a wide range of regional requirements in one package. This last point is an inference based on the reported exhibition lineup.
In broader terms, ROKETSAN’s presence at DSA 2026 reflects the growing visibility of Turkish defense industry firms in Asia-Pacific. By appearing with such a wide system family at one of the region’s biggest defense exhibitions, the company is positioning itself not just as a supplier, but as a potential long-term partner for countries seeking broader missile and munition capability. This final point is an inference based on the scale of the exhibition and the breadth of the reported ROKETSAN display.
