BREAKING NEWS
Roketsan is taking center stage at DSEI 2025, one of the United Kingdom’s largest defense industry exhibitions, by unveiling its latest innovations in missile, rocket, and defense technologies. The Turkish defense giant is exhibiting a comprehensive range of next-generation systems—from UAV munitions and cruise missiles to air defense and anti-tank platforms—demonstrating Türkiye’s growing influence in the global defense arena.
Among the highlights are the MAM-L IIR and MAM-T IIR precision munitions, along with the IHA-230, a supersonic air-to-ground ballistic missile designed for UAV deployment. These advanced systems enhance the operational reach and precision-strike capability of Türkiye’s expanding unmanned aerial fleet, offering greater flexibility for dynamic battlefield conditions.
In the anti-tank segment, Roketsan showcases KARAOK, a short-range portable system, L-OMTAS, a laser-guided medium-range missile, and L-UMTAS, a long-range variant capable of engaging armored targets with pinpoint accuracy. On the cruise missile side, ÇAKIR stands out with its modular design, allowing launches from both land and sea platforms and offering multiple warhead and guidance options tailored for diverse mission profiles.
Roketsan’s multi-layered air defense lineup is also prominently featured at the fair: SUNGUR for short-range, HİSAR-O RF for medium-range, and SİPER Block-1 for long-range air and missile defense. Together, these systems create a scalable defensive network against a wide array of aerial threats. Complementing this architecture are Roketsan’s TEBER and ELÇİN guidance kits, designed to enhance precision for existing munitions. The ALKA Directed Energy Weapon System, meanwhile, represents a cutting-edge solution for neutralizing drones and loitering threats using laser-based countermeasures.
Roketsan CEO Murat İkinci emphasized the growing defense and aerospace collaboration between Türkiye and the United Kingdom, noting that DSEI 2025 provides a strong platform to expand partnerships and establish concrete joint projects. The company’s broad display—from SİPER and ÇAKIR to MAM-T and ALKA—reflects its integrated and scalable defense ecosystem, underscoring Türkiye’s technological maturity in the field of missile, rocket, and energy-based weapon systems.
