U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to endorse the sale of F-35 fighter jets to Turkey and restore the country's access to the multinational program during his visit to Ankara for the NATO Summit, according to reports.

NATO Summit Defense Industry Forum announced a new multilateral project involving 12 member states to strengthen the supply chain for critical raw materials in defense manufacturing.

HAVELSAN General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar announced at the Defense Industry Forum in Ankara that the company exports simulation, command and control, and cybersecurity technologies to NATO member states, with products certified at CWIX exercises.

The Defense Industry Agency announced that the Turkish defense ecosystem coordinates over 4,000 companies while simultaneously executing more than 1,400 projects, achieving over 11 billion dollars in exports in the past 12 months.

ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci stated at the NATO Summit in Ankara that Turkey's defense industry capacity can play a critical role in meeting Europe's defense needs. He announced that the TAYFUN missile family will be completed with Block 4.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte described Turkey's defense industry structure as an exemplary model for allies at the Ankara Summit. Rutte noted that several NATO members are examining whether they can adapt this model to their own countries.

Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar highlighted the necessity of cooperation and capacity sharing for NATO UAV superiority during the Defense Industry Forum at the 36th NATO Leaders Summit.

NATO signed a $26.2 billion agreement for integrated air and missile defense, with Türkiye’s ASELSAN and ROKETSAN set to contribute.
