The Self-Propelled Artillery Weapon System T-155 Storm Howitzer is a model entirely produced by Turkey with local resources and engineers. Thanks to its advanced suspension system, consisting of 12 integrated hydro-pneumatic suspension units and wheels, it can move comfortably in all terrain conditions, including rough terrains. Entirely domestically and nationally produced, the Storm Howitzers were designed at the 1st Main Maintenance Center Command in Sakarya Arifiye. They were produced by Turkish Engineers and Turkish Workers. The planning of the Storm Howitzers began in the mid-1990s, and the first prototype emerged in 1997. 

The howitzers, which can move in all terrain conditions, have a power-to-weight ratio of 21 horsepower/ton. Integrated with ASELSAN's ADOP-2000 firing system, they have a firing range of up to 40 kilometers. They can reach a speed of 65 kilometers per hour. The howitzers, which have a 52-caliber barrel, can load 48 rounds in just 20 minutes with the Poyraz Ammunition Vehicle. The Storm Howitzers can be made ready to fire in 30 seconds while in motion and can inflict the damage that a standard howitzer does in 3 shots in just one shot.
