TCG Trakya stands out as one of the strategic projects aimed at enhancing the deterrence and operational capability of the Turkish Naval Forces in line with the “Blue Homeland” doctrine. Designed to meet modern amphibious warfare requirements, this platform draws attention with its multi-role operational concept. TCG Trakya is intended to enable the transport of personnel, armored vehicles, and logistical assets by sea, providing rapid and effective response capability to crisis regions. With this role, the ship is positioned not only for military operations but also as a key maritime asset for humanitarian aid, evacuation, and disaster response missions.

From a technical and operational perspective, TCG Trakya features an amphibious landing ship concept, advanced command-and-control infrastructure, and strong integration capability with air assets.
