ASELSAN has signed new export agreements worth a total of $153.8 million for remote-controlled weapon systems, communication systems, radar, electro-optical and electronic warfare payloads for international end users.

Mali’s Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop said they procured advanced defense systems from Turkey that other countries refused to sell even for money. Diop emphasized that cooperation between Ankara and Bamako is expanding into defense, security, technology and even potential technology transfer.

Baykar’s indigenous armed UAVs, particularly the Bayraktar TB2, are contributing significantly to security and stability in Africa. The company now exports its systems to 37 countries, making Africa one of its fastest-growing markets.

ASELSAN and the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) have signed new contracts worth €1,122,139,260 to expand ongoing air defense system serial-production projects. Deliveries will take place between 2027 and 2030.
