The export champions of Turkey’s defense and aviation industry for 2025 were officially announced during the 5th Defense and Aviation Industry Global Strategies Conference, highlighting the sector’s growing global competitiveness and strategic importance. Companies that demonstrated outstanding export performance over the past year were honored at a high-level award ceremony.
Awards were presented by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, and Head of the Presidency of Defence Industries Haluk Görgün. According to the official results, ARCA Savunma became the top defense and aviation exporter of Turkey in 2025.
In the overall export ranking, ARCA Savunma was followed by Baykar, TUSAŞ, TEI, ROKETSAN, ASELSAN, ASFAT, Otokar, SSTEK Savunma Sanayi Teknolojileri, and Alp Havacılık.
Significant achievements were also recorded across sub-categories. In the military electronics, radar, and simulators category, ASELSAN ranked first, while Boğaziçi Savunma came second. In military naval platforms, ASFAT secured first place, followed by HAVELSAN and Meteksan Savunma. The SME award in this category was presented to AKANA Deniz Teknolojileri.
In the land vehicles category, Otokar took first place, with Nurol Makina ranking second and BMC third. In the aircraft, engines, and components category, TUSAŞ ranked first, while the unmanned aerial vehicles category was led by Baykar. ROKETSAN achieved first place in the rockets and smart missile systems category, whereas ARCA Savunma also secured the top position in weapons systems and ammunition, reinforcing Turkey’s expanding footprint in global defense exports.
