At IDEF 2025, MKE will announce Türkiye’s first naval gun export and showcase the PİRANA unmanned surface vehicle alongside new drone and weapon systems.

Turkey’s defense manufacturer MKE AŞ is investing 2 billion Turkish lira to establish a defense production facility in Samsun’s Çarşamba district. The project aims to enhance local employment and strengthen Turkey’s indigenous defense capabilities.

MKE is developing a family of short-, medium-, and long-range loitering munitions, with first tests scheduled for March. The 105mm BORAN howitzer will also be integrated onto 4x4 vehicles.
