ASELSAN has signed a €1.65 billion contract with Türkiye’s Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) for the procurement of advanced air defense systems. Deliveries are scheduled between 2027 and 2031.

ASELSAN introduced its close-air-defense solution KORKUT 100/25 at DSEI 2025 in London; the system, shown on EJDER YALÇIN, neutralizes mini-micro drone threats with 25 mm ATOM rounds.

Five Turkish defense giants made the Defense News Top 100 list: ASELSAN ranked 43rd, TUSAŞ 47th, Roketsan 71st, ASFAT 78th, and MKE 80th. ASFAT climbed 16 spots.

At TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, Türkiye’s first indigenous frigate TCG İstanbul and the modernized TCG Oruçreis were exhibited side by side, symbolizing the nation’s naval modernization and engineering power.

Türkiye has officially entered the mass-production era in its defense industry with ASELSAN’s 14 new facilities and the groundbreaking of the Oğulbey Technology Base. The “Steel Dome” ushers in a new chapter in air defense.

Defense Industry Agency (SSB) President Haluk Görgün announced that the Oğulbey Technology Base will serve as a hub for developing next-generation command-control, quantum, and artificial intelligence-based defense technologies.
