Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) CEO Mehmet Demiroğlu announced that Spain plans to procure 15 additional Hürjet advanced trainer aircraft on top of its existing 30-aircraft contract. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in 2028.

The Presidency of Defense Industries announced that Turkey and Spain will jointly develop a specialized version of the Hürjet light attack aircraft. Spanish subcontractors will contribute to the platform, which will be offered to NATO members and allied nations following initial deliveries to Spain's air force.
