Turkish defense company ASELSAN signed a 780 million euro air defense systems procurement contract with the Defense Industry Agency (SSB). The agreement will strengthen Turkey's multi-layered air defense architecture known as Steel Dome.

The Defense Industry Agency announced that the SIPER 2 long-range air and missile defense system successfully destroyed a maneuvering target. The system operates at greater range and altitude compared to SIPER 1.

ASELSAN and the Presidency of Defense Industries signed a €780 million contract for the procurement of air defense systems.

ASELSAN signed new export contracts covering radar, air defense, electro-optical and communication systems for international end users.

Diehl Defence unveiled the Cobra 600 system, combining a jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicle platform with IRIS-T air-to-air missiles. Presented at ILA Berlin aviation fair, the system delivers a 400-kilometer operational range.

Roketsan is positioning its Alka laser weapon system as a critical component of Türkiye's multilayered air defense architecture. The system will form the laser layer of the "Steel Dome" and serve as the final line of defense against unmanned aerial vehicles that penetrate other air defense assets.

SAĞLAMTEK Aerospace Defense has developed a passive acoustic radar technology that focuses on engine and propeller sounds. The system can detect large drones from 3 kilometers away and operates on standard power banks.

ROKETSAN announced that the CIRIT Anti-UAV missile successfully struck an aerial target during a test firing from the PUSU Weapon System. The domestically developed smart munition integrated with mobile platforms offers a strategic solution against asymmetric threats.
