BREAKING NEWS
Koluman Otomotiv Endüstri AŞ is set to showcase three flagship solutions at IDEF 2025: the brand-new KISRAK 4x4 Tactical Wheeled Vehicle, the Armored Battlefield Fuel Tanker (Armored AKTAN), and the Leveling Subsystem (DAS). The portfolio reflects an R&D-driven approach focused on boosting operational effectiveness, survivability, and continuity for security forces across demanding theaters.
Financed entirely from internal resources, the KISRAK 4x4 is engineered for high mobility and durability in harsh terrain. Its 330 hp powerpack, automatic transmission, and 6.5-ton payload enable flexible reconfiguration for multiple mission modules—personnel and cargo transport, reconnaissance, logistics support, command-post shelter, and fuel-tanker variants. Low maintenance requirements and high efficiency are paired with Koluman’s global after-sales support, helping units sustain tempo and minimize lifecycle costs.
The Armored AKTAN underpins secure fuel logistics close to the fight. Developed with the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB), the project covers 41 vehicles—10 delivered, with the remainder slated for 3Q 2025. An 8x8 DERMAN armored cab, 12,000-liter ballistic, leak-proof tanker, and a 517 hp engine combine to keep frontline refueling continuous and protected, preventing breaks in the supply chain that could degrade combat power.
Rounding out the lineup, the DAS Leveling Subsystem integrates with 6x6 and 8x8 tactical platforms to maximize the performance of radars, electro-optical suites, and air-defense systems. Capable of high-precision auto-leveling on two axes perpendicular to gravity, DAS brings the platform to an ideal firing/sensing posture within about 2–3 minutes. This rapid stabilization minimizes performance losses due to platform tilt or ground irregularities and tightens timelines from target detection to engagement.
Koluman views IDEF as more than a showcase: it’s a nexus for strategic partnerships and export growth amid rising defense spending and mobility demand across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. With KISRAK’s modular architecture driving down per-mission logistics costs—and Armored AKTAN and DAS accelerating refuel/sensor/air-defense cycles—the company aims to strengthen its position in international markets and open new program avenues.
