Otokar has ramped up production for Romania’s €857 million COBRA II order, the largest single armored vehicle export in Turkish defense industry history. The project includes 1,059 vehicles across 10 variants.

Under Turkey’s largest single armored vehicle export deal, Otokar will deliver 1,059 COBRA II 4x4 vehicles to Romania. Production has already started in Sakarya.

Morocco has signed a $136 million contract with Turkish defense company Otokar to procure 200 Cobra II armored vehicles with full support packages.

The Turkish armored vehicle Cobra II has been upgraded with a mine-resistant (MRAP) version, offering enhanced ballistic protection, stronger mine resistance and increased carrying capacity for high-risk missions.

Developed by Otokar, the new MRAP version of the Cobra II offers superior protection against mines and IEDs, boosting the operational strength of security forces.
