Türkiye’s Presidency of Defence Industries announced that ASELSAN has signed an electronic warfare system contract in Europe worth over $400 million, marking a major export milestone.

Turkey and Hungary strengthened their defense ties with major agreements covering Gidran 4x4 production and new joint technological initiatives. The cooperation aims to boost domestic manufacturing and NATO-compatible systems in Hungary.

Launched from TCG Anadolu, the Bayraktar TB3 successfully guided ASELSAN’s Albatros-S USV to destroy its target, while all additional strike missions were completed with full accuracy.

In SIPRI’s 2024 defense industry report, ASELSAN, TAI, Baykar, Roketsan, and MKE ranked among the world’s top 100 defense companies. Türkiye’s total defense revenues rose by 11% to 10.1 billion dollars.

Turkey has signed defense contracts worth $6.5 billion to enhance its integrated air defense system, Steel Dome. The agreements involve ASELSAN, Roketsan, and HAVELSAN, boosting the nation’s self-sufficient defense ecosystem.

ASELSAN has signed a 26.07 million-dollar contract to supply medical imaging systems for domestic use. Deliveries will take place between 2025 and 2027.

ASELSAN has signed new export agreements worth a total of $153.8 million for remote-controlled weapon systems, communication systems, radar, electro-optical and electronic warfare payloads for international end users.
