BREAKING NEWS
The Turkish defense industry has taken its place at Eurosatory, one of the world’s leading defense and security exhibitions, with broad participation. Held in Villepinte near Paris, France, the exhibition brings together defense industry representatives, military delegations and sector professionals from different regions of the world. With the participation of more than 2,000 companies from 65 countries, Eurosatory stands out as a major global meeting point for land systems, air defense, electronic warfare, security technologies and unmanned systems.
Türkiye is represented at Eurosatory by more than 50 companies, including ASELSAN, Roketsan, Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation, HAVELSAN and many other defense firms. This strong participation is highly important for demonstrating the Turkish defense industry’s production, engineering and export capacity to international markets. Turkish companies are not only displaying their existing products at the exhibition, but also holding meetings for new collaborations, export opportunities and technology partnerships.
ASELSAN, one of the main sponsors of this year’s exhibition, is attracting attention especially with its electronic warfare and counter-UAV systems. As the importance of drones, kamikaze UAVs, electronic jamming, radar detection and secure communications continues to increase on the modern battlefield, ASELSAN’s solutions in these areas are drawing strong interest from international visitors. The company’s capabilities in electronic systems show that Türkiye has become a powerful player not only in platform production, but also in critical subsystems and mission equipment.
The Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation is also among the key Turkish companies participating in Eurosatory with different product families. MKE is presenting the Bora-12 sniper rifle, as well as domestic and national defense products developed against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats. These products represent critical capabilities needed by security forces in both conventional warfare environments and asymmetric threat scenarios.
Roketsan is another Turkish defense company drawing attention at the exhibition with its rocket and missile solutions. Türkiye’s recent progress in guided munitions, anti-tank systems, artillery rockets, air defense missiles and anti-ship solutions has increased Roketsan’s visibility at international exhibitions. Major events such as Eurosatory provide strategic opportunities for the company to promote its products for different user needs and expand its export potential.
The broad representation of the Turkish defense industry at Eurosatory is considered an important part of the sector’s export-oriented growth strategy. Products developed in different areas, from land vehicles and electronic warfare to counter-UAV systems, ammunition, communication solutions and CBRN defense, demonstrate Türkiye’s increasingly diversified defense technology capabilities. The strong interest shown in Turkish stands from the first day of the exhibition indicates that international demand for domestic and national technologies continues.
Participation in Eurosatory is not only a promotional activity for the Turkish defense industry, but also a critical step in strengthening global competitiveness and opening new markets. By appearing in France with more than 50 companies and high-technology products, Türkiye is becoming more visible in the defense and security sector. This picture shows that the Turkish defense industry has evolved from a structure responding mainly to regional needs into a strong ecosystem offering solutions on a global scale.
