The Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) revealed Turkey’s top defense and aviation exporters for 2024. Baykar topped the list with $1.8 billion in exports.

Baykar achieved $1.8 billion in exports in 2024, selling advanced UAVs to 35 countries and maintaining its 60% share of the global drone market.

Leonardo CEO Roberto Cingolani highlighted strong technological synergy with Baykar, confirming that the two companies are working intensively toward potential cooperation in next-generation unmanned systems.

Baykar’s Bayraktar TB3 UCAV successfully carried out its first live-fire test using Roketsan’s MAM-T smart munition, striking the target with pinpoint accuracy via ASELSAN’s ASELFLIR-500 targeting system.

Developed by Baykar, the Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV set a new export record with sales to 9 countries and a joint production deal with Saudi Arabia.
