The 10th Defence Industry Days, recognized as the most established student-led defence event in Türkiye, is organized by YTU Mechanical Technologies Club in collaboration with the Presidency of Defence Industries. Hosted at YTU Davutpaşa Campus – Historical Hamam on 11–12 May, it connects students, academia and industry leaders around Türkiye’s defence vision and innovation agenda.

The programme explores reducing foreign dependence, meeting public agencies’ system needs with indigenous solutions, and building a competitive national defence industry from R&D to commercialization through expert keynotes and in-depth panels. Attendees gain first-hand insight into technology roadmaps, procurement & quality processes, career expectations and talent pipelines.

Participants can visit leading companies’ booths to examine state-of-the-art products, while informative panels and talks unpack advances across platforms, subsystems, software, testing and validation. 10th SSG delivers a high-impact experience that accelerates careers, expands networks, and converts knowledge into tangible contributions to Türkiye’s defence ecosystem.
