BREAKING NEWS
TULPAR is designed to be an effective support in combat situations. It stands out as an efficient support vehicle for new generation tanks. Its superior ballistic and mine protection capabilities allow for effective performance even under harsh climate and terrain conditions. Features like transportability with A400M, modular protection structure, advanced electronic infrastructure, and low silhouette are designed to meet the needs of future armored combat vehicles.
Engine and Mobility
TULPAR's engine is a turbocharged diesel, providing power ranging from 700 to 1100 HP. It features a 720 HP V8 engine, 16 liters, water-cooled, and a torque converter automatic transmission with 6 forward and 4 reverse gears. The vehicle can carry up to 45 tons with its suspension system and features a speed-reducing undercarriage system designed by Otokar. It has a maximum range of 600 km and can exceed speeds of 70 km/h, with the ability to navigate 60% steep slopes and 40% side slopes.
Weapon System and Electro-Optical Sight Units
Equipped with a next-generation fire control system, TULPAR can perform day and night firing in all weather conditions. The turret is armed with a 30 mm dual-feed automatic main gun and a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun. Both the Commander and Gunner have independent Hunter-Killer capabilities, equipped with Thermal/CCD Cameras and Laser Range Finders, and periscopes with automatic target tracking features.
Modular Armor Structure and Protection
TULPAR's modular armor structure allows for increased ballistic protection as needed. Its design specifically for mine protection includes shock-absorbing coatings and protective features against mine explosions. Its low silhouette and IR paint reduce the likelihood of enemy detection.
Electronic Architecture and Standard Features
TULPAR's digital infrastructure is supported by ARMATRONICS, allowing easy integration of new mission equipment. Its Electrical and Electronic architecture supports all vehicle configurations and subsystems. Standard features include air conditioning, CBRN protection, automatic fire extinguishing, blast suppression systems, automatic track tensioning system, and more.
Technical Specifications
TULPAR has a variable weight between 28,000 and 45,000 kg, with a capacity for 12 personnel, including driver, commander, gunner, and 9 squad members. It measures 7200 mm in length, 3450 mm in width, and 2100 mm in height above the hull, with a ground clearance of 450 mm. Performance features include a maximum speed of 70 km/h, water crossing capability of 1500 mm, 40% side slope and 60% steep slope driving capabilities.
