The Altay tank is equipped with a 120 mm L55 smoothbore main gun and the Volkan II Fire Control System. This system offers a high probability of hitting targets accurately on the first shot. The tank's hydropneumatic suspension system allows for automatic track tensioning and leveling, enhancing its maneuverability in various terrains. The Altay Tank is equipped with reactive and composite armor systems, offering maximum protection at minimum weight. Additionally, it incorporates the AKKOR Active Protection System for hybrid defense.
