The Baykar Mini UAV, also known as Baykar Scout, is the first national and original mini-class unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Turkish Armed Forces' inventory, developed by the partnership of Kale-Baykar. It began operational use in 2007 and is actively used by the Turkish Army, Special Forces, Gendarmerie, and Police Aviation. The system made history by being the first national air vehicle system exported in 2012, with deliveries to Qatar. It is designed for near-range day and night reconnaissance and observation, featuring an operational flight altitude of 2,000 feet and a communication range of 15 km. The Mini UAV is notable for its automatic takeoff and landing capabilities and is equipped with various payload options.
