One of the leading companies of Türkiye’s defense industry, ROKETSAN, has surpassed a critical milestone in exports. The company’s General Manager, Murat İkinci, announced that ROKETSAN’s exports exceeded $750 million last year, representing growth of more than 50 percent. These remarks were delivered during the Defense Industry Talent Management Summit, organized by the Defense Industry Academy under the Presidency of Defense Industries as part of the National Competency Initiative.

Speaking at the summit, İkinci emphasized that this remarkable growth is not coincidental, but the result of a well-established ecosystem-based vision. He noted that traditional leadership models are no longer sufficient in today’s rapidly evolving defense sector. Instead, leaders must adopt a holistic approach that prioritizes not only their own organizations but also suppliers, partners, and stakeholders across the entire ecosystem.

ROKETSAN’s rapid growth is largely driven by its ability to manufacture competitive products at a global level and deliver them to end users on time. According to İkinci, this capability cannot be sustained by a single company alone. ROKETSAN now operates as the backbone of a broader ecosystem, where suppliers, subcontractors, and strategic partners grow together under a shared vision. Supporting the development of this supply chain has become a strategic priority for the company.

Furthermore, ROKETSAN has increasingly integrated into the international defense ecosystem through joint production projects and global partnerships. The company collaborates with multiple countries and actively operates in international markets. İkinci stated that involving international partners as part of ROKETSAN’s growth story enables the company to closely monitor market trends and adapt to global dynamics more effectively.
