Otokar has ramped up production for Romania’s €857 million COBRA II order, the largest single armored vehicle export in Turkish defense industry history. The project includes 1,059 vehicles across 10 variants.

Turkey now exports not only defense platforms but also fully integrated operational concepts. Romania’s ability to operate its TB-2 drones from the newly acquired HİSAR-class offshore patrol vessel marks a major milestone.

Under Turkey’s largest single armored vehicle export deal, Otokar will deliver 1,059 COBRA II 4x4 vehicles to Romania. Production has already started in Sakarya.

Finland will join NATO’s Air Policing mission in Romania with eight F/A-18 fighter jets and nearly 100 personnel, marking its first overseas NATO mission.

Romania will soon receive the first 3 of 32 F-16s purchased from Norway, significantly boosting its air defense capabilities and NATO interoperability.
