Pentagon officials reportedly evaluated deploying around 3,000 troops from the 82nd Airborne Division for possible operations against Iran, including a potential assault on Hark Island.

The Pentagon’s Space Data Network aims to deliver missile warning and tracking data to defensive systems in near real time. The network is expected to serve as a critical backbone for the Golden Dome missile defense architecture.

The Pentagon has signed a $700 million contract with Lockheed Martin to begin production for Denmark’s 16 additional F-35A fighter jets. With the new procurement, Denmark’s total F-35 fleet is expected to reach 43 aircraft.
