Turkish defense industry leader ASELSAN has commissioned a new "Smart Ammunition and Subsystems Production and Test Centers" facility with a $40 million investment spanning 17,360 square meters. The facility significantly enhances production capacity and quality assurance capabilities.

Turkey's defense and aerospace sector achieved 10.9 billion dollars in exports over the past year. NATO members accounted for 57 percent of total sales, while the sector generated 65 dollars per kilogram in high value-added products.

ASELSAN has commissioned a 17,360 square-meter production facility for smart ammunition and underwater systems, completed with a 40 million dollar investment. The facility strengthens manufacturing capacity for air and naval defense systems through advanced robotics and automation infrastructure.

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte announced that billions of dollars in new defense contracts will be unveiled at the NATO summit scheduled for July 7-8 in Ankara. A major defense industry event will be held on the summit's opening day.

ASELSAN’s indigenous heart-lung machine LIFELINE HLM successfully supported the patient’s circulation and oxygenation during its first clinical surgery.

Under an agreement with the Defense Industry Agency, ASELSAN aims to develop a domestically-produced superconducting quantum processor unit within four years. The project will reduce dependence on foreign sources for one of the most critical components of quantum computers.
