ASELSAN, one of Türkiye’s leading defense and advanced electronics companies, has taken a significant step in strengthening its global footprint by securing new export contracts in the Asia-Pacific region. The company announced that it has signed export agreements totaling 171 million US dollars with customers located in this strategically important market.
According to the disclosure made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the contracts include the direct sale of advanced communication systems as well as mission payloads to be used on unmanned surface vehicles (USVs). These systems are designed to enhance maritime situational awareness, secure communications, and operational effectiveness, particularly for naval and coastal security missions.
ASELSAN stated that the newly signed agreements are part of its ongoing commercial cooperation with customers in the Asia-Pacific (ASA) region. The company’s solutions, known for their high reliability and indigenous technological content, are expected to contribute to the modernization of naval platforms operated by regional users. In addition to product delivery, ASELSAN’s export model typically includes integration, technical support, and long-term sustainability services.
This major export success once again demonstrates ASELSAN’s growing competitiveness in the international defense market. It also highlights Türkiye’s rising role as a supplier of high-value defense technologies. With a strong portfolio spanning communication, naval, and unmanned systems, ASELSAN is expected to continue expanding its export activities across different regions in the coming period.
