Defence Port Türkiye – South Asia is a strategic defence marketplace designed to expand Türkiye’s footprint and unlock new opportunities across global markets. The 6th edition was held virtually due to Covid-19, bringing together over 80 official delegations from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan with Turkish and international firms via video-conference B2G meetings.
The programme featured a focused webinar series: “New-Generation Land Forces in South Asia” (26 Oct), “Sea Power & Future Plans in South Asia” (27 Oct), and “Air Defence Strategies in South Asia” (28 Oct). Across three days, participants targeted 500+ business meetings, including 40+ delegations from Pakistan, 25+ from Bangladesh, and 10+ from Afghanistan, accelerating procurement dialogues and cross-border partnerships.
