HEHSİS (Helicopter Electronic Warfare Self-Protection System) is an integrated Electronic Warfare Self-Protection System developed by ASELSAN for fixed and rotary wing air platforms. Providing comprehensive protection against advanced radar, missile, and laser threats, this system maximizes platform survivability while reducing pilot workload. HEHSİS, with its modular structure and open architecture design, can be configured to meet various user needs and is entirely domestically designed using national resources.

Key Features and Capabilities:

• Radar Warning Receiver System (RWR): Alerts pilots to enemy radar signals.
• Missile Warning System (MWS): Detects incoming missiles, providing pilots with rapid reaction capability.
• Laser Warning Receiver System (LWR): Detects and counters laser threats.
• Radio Frequency Jammer System (RFJ): Disrupts enemy communications and radar signals.
• Countermeasure Dispensing System (CMDS): Designed for effective threat mitigation.

HEHSİS employs narrow and wideband digital receivers, Solid State Power Amplifier, and utilizes DRFM (Digital RF Memory) technology for effective spectrum coverage and advanced countermeasure techniques.

Design and Compatibility:

HEHSİS's open architecture allows adaptation to various user needs. The system is equipped with high-precision warning systems covering and scanning all frequency bands. Additionally, Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) technology and Digital RF Memory technology developed by ASELSAN are incorporated into this system.

The protection HEHSİS provides for air platforms in the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) inventory will enhance operational efficiency and safety. Its modular structure and flexible configuration, allowing for software modifications, make it adaptable to future requirements.
