France has officially contracted Saab GlobalEye aircraft to replace its ageing E-3F AWACS fleet. Deliveries will take place between 2029 and 2032.

France has ordered two Saab GlobalEye AEW&C aircraft under a $1.3 billion contract, including training and support. The deal also includes options for two additional aircraft.

Saab has received a $270 million order from Sweden to support ongoing development, testing, and modernization of the Gripen fighter system through 2028.

The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force has ordered more than 300 Carl-Gustaf M4 systems from Saab. Deliveries will begin in 2025, boosting Japan’s defense capabilities.
