Türkiye has sold the TCG Akhisar offshore patrol vessel to Romania, marking its first-ever warship export to a NATO and EU member. The transfer paves the way for strategic naval cooperation among Türkiye, Romania, and Ukraine in the Black Sea.

HAVELSAN has achieved its 60th delivery of the nationally developed Ship Data Distribution System (GVDS), a critical component of Turkish warships and submarines, with total operational runtime exceeding 300 years.

Built for the Pakistan Navy, the PNS Khaibar corvette successfully hit sea, land, and air targets during live-fire tests — showcasing the strength of Türkiye’s naval engineering.

HAVELSAN’s FLEETSTAR and SUBSTAR data distribution systems, the “brains” of modern naval platforms, now operate not only in Turkish Navy vessels but also across three continents. The systems boast over 80% local content and unmatched reliability.

Launched at Yalova’s Sefine Shipyard, TCG İçel (F-518) is the 8th ship of the MİLGEM I-Class Frigate Project, featuring up to 80% indigenous radar, sonar, fire control, and anti-ship systems.

At TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, Türkiye’s first indigenous frigate TCG İstanbul and the modernized TCG Oruçreis were exhibited side by side, symbolizing the nation’s naval modernization and engineering power.

Türkiye’s MoND announced that TCG İstanbul achieved direct hits during live-fire trials under the MİLGEM Fifth Ship Procurement Project, sharing footage that confirmed successful target engagements and system integration.

Following the success of its MİLGEM and MİLDEN programs, Turkey has set its sights on building a nuclear-powered submarine — a bold move that could place the nation among global naval powers such as the U.S., Russia, China, and France.
