Türkiye’s Presidency of Defence Industries announced that ASELSAN has signed an electronic warfare system contract in Europe worth over $400 million, marking a major export milestone.

SSB President Haluk Görgün announced that Turkey’s defense and aerospace industry exports reached $8.5 billion in 2025, marking a historic milestone for the sector.

MKE’s presence in Africa continues to grow, exporting to 23 countries and managing 11 international projects, including ammunition production facility agreements. New contracts are expected soon.

Baykar’s indigenous armed UAVs, particularly the Bayraktar TB2, are contributing significantly to security and stability in Africa. The company now exports its systems to 37 countries, making Africa one of its fastest-growing markets.

SSB President Haluk Görgün announced that Turkey’s defense and aerospace exports rose by 97.3% in August 2025 to $834 million, bringing total exports for January–August to $5.418 billion — a 45% year-on-year increase.

SSB President Haluk Görgün said Türkiye’s defense and aerospace exports rose 25% to $3.603B in January–June, with June up 10.4% and the 12-month total at $7.454B.

Turkey’s defense and aviation exports rose by 54% in April 2025, reaching $539 million. Between January and April, exports grew by 67% to $2.238 billion, marking a new milestone for the sector.

President of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün announced that Turkey’s defense and aerospace exports in March 2025 reached $884 million, marking a 147% increase from $358 million the previous year. The sector’s total exports in the first quarter rose 72% to $1.7 billion.
