Turkey has signed defense contracts worth $6.5 billion to enhance its integrated air defense system, Steel Dome. The agreements involve ASELSAN, Roketsan, and HAVELSAN, boosting the nation’s self-sufficient defense ecosystem.

ASELSAN has signed a 26.07 million-dollar contract to supply medical imaging systems for domestic use. Deliveries will take place between 2025 and 2027.

ASELSAN has signed new export agreements worth a total of $153.8 million for remote-controlled weapon systems, communication systems, radar, electro-optical and electronic warfare payloads for international end users.

Despite disinformation and efforts to hinder the BAMEX’25 defense fair, the Malian government praised Türkiye and Turkish defense companies for their determination and contributions. Mali described Türkiye as a respectful, visionary and reliable partner for the region’s security.
