The SERDAR Remote Controlled Stabilized Weapon/Missile System is a weapon system developed by ASELSAN that provides high effectiveness in all weather conditions. It can be equipped with anti-tank missiles and machine guns, offering advanced firing control capabilities. The system automates target detection and tracking, providing a platform compatible with various weapon options for integration into vehicles.
Advanced Firing Control Capabilities
The SERDAR System is effective day and night, in all weather conditions. With computer-controlled firing control capabilities, it minimizes user interaction to precisely and effectively hit targets. The system is equipped with features such as automatic target tracking, thermal/TV cameras, and a Laser Range Finder, facilitating operators in target detection and tracking processes.
Weapon Platform and Integration
SERDAR is a remotely controlled and stabilized Weapon Platform capable of carrying 2 or 4 anti-tank missiles. This platform can optionally be equipped with 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine guns. Its lightweight and compact structure allows easy integration into both newly produced and inventory vehicles with high mobility, significantly enhancing the vehicles' destruction capabilities.
Ammunition Capacity and Motion Limits
SERDAR has a ready-to-fire ammunition capacity of 2 or 4 anti-tank missiles. Regarding machine guns, it has a primary weapon capacity of 200 rounds of 12.7mm and a secondary weapon capacity of 400 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition. Motion limits include an elevation angle range of -15° to +45° and full 360° rotation capability, providing a wide targeting range.
Additional Features
The system includes advanced features such as remote control, passive target discovery and detection capability, automatic firing control functions, and ballistic calculations. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -32°C to +55°C, ensuring functionality in challenging weather conditions. Features like the last ammunition warning and restricted operation/fire zone definition enhance operational efficiency and safety.
