Türkiye is using domestically developed industrial robots and digital twin technology in the mass production of the ALTAY tank, enabling high-precision welding and fully automated quality control.

With the launch of the ALTAY Main Battle Tank mass-production facility, Türkiye has gained the capacity to rapidly meet both its own military needs and the demands of allied nations.

SSB President Haluk Görgün announced that the first mass-produced Altay tanks will be delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces this year, with a total of 85 tanks to be handed over by 2028.

A landmark agreement was signed between Turkey’s Defense Industry Agency (SSB), BMC, and FNSS for the Next-Generation Vehicles Project. The Turkish Land Forces will receive ALTUĞ 8x8 and PARS ALPHA 8x8 armored vehicles, with deliveries set to begin in 2027.

One hundred domestically produced tactical wheeled armored vehicles, powered by Turkish-made engines, have entered service with the Turkish Land Forces and Gendarmerie. The vehicles, developed by BMC, reached a 95% localization rate.

BMC’s locally produced armored SUV TULGA was introduced at TEKNOFEST İzmir. Designed for the Gendarmerie, it combines advanced armor with off-road performance.
