Turkey's defense and aerospace sector exports increased 10.7% year-over-year in September, reaching $634 million. Annualized exports approached $11 billion, with nine-month exports up 15.6% to $6.92 billion.

The Presidency of Defense Industries announced that Turkey's annualized defense and aerospace exports exceeded $11 billion for the first time, reaching 514.86 billion Turkish lira. June exports reached $802.8 million, marking a 29.6% year-over-year increase.

The ATMACA anti-ship missile, HISAR-D RF guided projectile, and AKYA heavyweight torpedo—developed under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries—successfully engaged different target types during the Denizkurdu-2/2026 Naval Exercise.

The Turkish Naval Forces will launch DENİZKURDU-II/2025, one of the largest naval exercises in its history, spanning the Black Sea, Marmara, Aegean, and Eastern Mediterranean. The exercise will involve 120 ships, 85 aircraft, and special forces units.

The Ministry of National Defense announced that the indigenous ATMACA missile was successfully launched from land to a sea target for the first time over the Black Sea.
