During the NATO Summit in Ankara, executives from ROKETSAN and ASELSAN emphasized that Turkish defense industry possesses production capacity to meet allied needs. The sector maintains a strong position with annual exports exceeding $11 billion.

At the NATO Summit Defense Industry Forum held at TUSAŞ Kahramankazan facility, Defense Industry Agency President Haluk Görgün stated that the forum represents one of the largest events in NATO history. Turkish defense industry products were showcased to alliance members.

The ADVENT Combat Management System, developed by HAVELSAN, has been delivered to Romania's Navy for the first time as part of the CAm.ROMAN corvette sale. The system was previously exported to Pakistan, Indonesia, Ukraine, Qatar, and other nations.

Turkey's MKE-developed TOLGA Close-Range Air Defense System was presented to a 64-member international delegation from 24 countries through live-fire demonstrations. The system achieved 100 percent success rate against kamikaze drones, swarm attacks, and fixed-wing unmanned aircraft.

Within the NATO Summit Defense Industry Forum, Turkish defense industry products and national air platforms will be presented to international delegates under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries.

Turkey's defense and aerospace sector achieved 10.9 billion dollars in exports over the past year. NATO members accounted for 57 percent of total sales, while the sector generated 65 dollars per kilogram in high value-added products.

Parliamentary leaders attending the NATO Parliamentary Summit visited Baykar's Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center. The visit took place a week ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte emphasized that Turkey's defense industry will benefit all members of the Alliance ahead of the Ankara Summit, highlighting the importance of transatlantic defense industrial transformation.
